Event Staff

SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the Events Supervisor. The Events Staff conducts tasks related to running a smooth event operation. These tasks may include, but are not limited to: maintaining visibility, observing activities, investigating issues, maintaining documentation, crowd control, and other tasks needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide excellent customer service to the client, its associates and facilities personnel.
  • Patrol assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activity
  • Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions which might endanger client, its associates or public safety, including fires, evacuations, hazardous situations, or other facility related events; provide back up to client personnel as needed.
  • Ensure that daily administrative documentation is kept concise and complete at all times; maintain all daily assigned equipment in functional and presentable condition.
  • Respond to all requests for assistance relayed by Supervisor or client; complete various company or client assignments as required; submit reports to superior officer.
  • Investigate security related accidents/incidents, interview witnesses, complaints, and victims; responsible for gathering physical evidence and preserving it for future use; complete report and follow up with management as needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all employees, suppliers, and visitors on company property have proper company issued identification.
  • Ensure that the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment.
  • Responsibilities include crowd control and assisting Police Department/Fire Department/EMS or other officials during these processes; maintain control at traffic accidents, assist victims, and investigate causes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Unarmed Security Officer

SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the Corporal (Site Supervisor) the Unarmed Security Officer conducts tasks related to ensuring the secure operations of their assigned location. These tasks can range from maintaining an entry process, making rounds, investigating suspicious activities, monitoring surveillance equipment, and other tasks as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work at your command station as required
  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
  • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property
  • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
  • Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
  • Communicate to supervisors and other staff using two-way radio
  • Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
  • Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
  • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
  • Provide assistance to people in need on the premises
  • Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocols for security officers before the arrival of local authorities
  • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
  • Call 911 when necessary
  • Other tasks as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proven experience as security officer or guard
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
  • Surveillance and security officer observation skills

Armed Security Officer

SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of Site Supervisor, the Armed Security Guard conducts tasks such as related to ensuring the secure operations of their assigned location. These tasks can range from maintaining an entry process, making rounds, investigating suspicious activities, monitoring surveillance equipment, and other tasks as needed. Armed Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. Armed Security Officers will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor premises and entry points to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
  • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
  • Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
  • Prepare written safety and security reports as needed
  • Call 911 when necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with security equipment (computers, cameras, CCTV)
  • Ability to handle physical workload

Lieutenant

SUMMARY:

The Lieutenant conducts tasks related to managing the operations of several sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Business Development Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Senior Leadership to establish regional goals and objectives and communicate these goals to branch staff.
  • Training, developing, and motivating supervisory staff to effectively oversee all day-to-day operations of the site security personnel.

  • Carrying out site assist visits and audits in accordance with the Quality Assurance program.

Business Development Manager

SUMMARY:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for procuring prospective clients, delivering presentations, and retaining existing clients. This position will be responsible for sourcing new business and helping the company reach its strategic sales goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contacting prospective clients to set up meetings for the current and following week.
  • Cold calling and sourcing of new leads
  • Conducting Security Site Assessments to best understand a Prospect’s current program, threats, vulnerabilities, risks, and desired outcomes.
  • Focusing on competitive takeaways while also reviewing incoming RFP opportunities.
  • Building proposals that include our full spectrum of offerings through our Hybrid Security market approach.

Payroll Clerk

SUMMARY:

The Payroll Clerk will process weekly payroll and maintain employee time records. This position is also responsible for making time corrections, tracking uniforms, and assigning employees numbers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
  • Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
  • Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
  • Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
  • Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
